I Just Want To Write A Book

This picture is a visual representation of me trying to figure out the publishing process. I understand the writing process. Write the book, Sis. But the rest of it… I feel like if you want to become an author you have to become a master of everything. I often find myself saying I just want to write a book.

I've spent quite a few hours Google searching, YouTube watching, and article reading. I have constant questions… How do I convert a book for eReaders? How do I choose an editor? How does KDP work? What is an em dash? So many questions.

Some days I am excited when I learn something new. Other days I am overwhelmed as I realize all the things I still don’t know. It's a process, I get it, and I am trying to take it one day at a time. I’m still in the process of writing my book but as I get closer to completion I get a little bit anxious knowing that I need to get up to speed.
